Terms of Service

Important: Payments for Forge DevKit are processed by Lemon Squeezy (Lemon Squeezy, Inc.), who acts as the Merchant of Record for all transactions. When you purchase a Forge DevKit license, you enter into two separate agreements: a payment agreement with Lemon Squeezy (governed by Lemon Squeezy's Buyer Terms), and a license agreement with Reumbra OÜ (governed by these Terms of Service). These Terms govern the license and the product - not the payment relationship.

By purchasing a Forge DevKit license or using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. Description of the Service

Forge DevKit is a command-line tool (npm package) that generates architecture-aware configuration files - referred to as "dev-skills" - for use with AI-assisted development environments. The Service consists of:

• A CLI tool distributed as an npm package (@reumbra/forge)
• A license key delivered by email upon activation of the purchase, required to activate the CLI tool
• Generated output files (dev-skills, quality patterns, pipeline configurations) that remain on your local system after setup

2.1 Third-Party Dependency

The Service is not a standalone product. To use the generated output files, you must independently have access to a compatible AI development environment, such as Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor, or other tools that support the .claude/ directory convention. Reumbra OÜ is not affiliated with Anthropic, Cursor, or any other third-party provider. Purchase of a Forge DevKit license does not grant access to any third-party service or AI platform.

2.2 No Guarantee of AI Output

Forge DevKit is a tool that structures how AI agents interact with your codebase. It improves the consistency and quality of AI-assisted development by providing architecture-aware context, quality guardrails, and pipeline structure. However:

• The actual outputs generated by AI agents are produced by third-party AI models and are not guaranteed by Reumbra OÜ.
• AI outputs are probabilistic by nature. Forge DevKit improves the likelihood of better results but cannot guarantee any specific output, quality level, or outcome.
• Third-party AI models may change, be updated, or behave differently over time. Such changes are outside Reumbra OÜ's control and do not constitute a defect in the Service.

The generated artifacts (dev-skills, configuration files) function independently of the Forge CLI. Removing the CLI after setup does not affect the generated files in your repository.

3. License

Upon activation of your purchase, Reumbra OÜ grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, worldwide license to install and use the Forge DevKit CLI tool for the license period specified at the time of purchase.

3.1 Permitted Use

• Install and use the CLI tool on your own devices
• Use the generated output files in your own software projects, including commercial projects
• Use the Service for personal or commercial software development

3.2 Prohibited Use

• Sharing, reselling, or sublicensing the license key
• Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to extract proprietary logic from the CLI tool
• Using the Service for any unlawful purpose

The license is granted to one individual user. A separate license is required for each user in a team context.

4. Payment and Merchant of Record

All payments for Forge DevKit licenses are processed by Lemon Squeezy, Inc. ("Lemon Squeezy"), who acts as the Merchant of Record. This means:

• Your payment is made to Lemon Squeezy, not directly to Reumbra OÜ.
• Lemon Squeezy is responsible for payment processing, tax collection and remittance, fraud protection, and payment-related compliance.
• Any disputes related to payment charges, billing errors, or payment processing must be directed to Lemon Squeezy.
• Your payment relationship with Lemon Squeezy is governed by Lemon Squeezy's Buyer Terms.

Prices are displayed in USD on the website and are inclusive of applicable taxes at checkout. Licenses are sold on an annual basis. Your license will renew automatically unless cancelled before the end of the billing period. You will be notified before renewal.

5. License Key Delivery

After payment is confirmed by Lemon Squeezy, Reumbra OÜ dispatches a license key to the email address provided at checkout. Delivery is normally completed within a few minutes. In exceptional cases, delivery may take up to 24 hours.

If you have not received your license key within 24 hours of payment confirmation, please contact info@reumbra.com. Keep your license key secure - it is tied to your individual license and you are responsible for any use made with it.

6. Refund Policy

6.1 Money-Back Guarantee

Reumbra OÜ offers a 14-day money-back guarantee on all Forge DevKit licenses, no questions asked.

To request a refund, send an email to info@reumbra.com within 14 days of your purchase date, including the email address used at checkout. Reumbra OÜ will approve the refund and coordinate with Lemon Squeezy to process it. The refund will be returned via the original payment method within 7 working days of approval. Your license key will be deactivated upon refund.

After the 14-day period, licenses are non-refundable.

6.2 Payment Disputes

Disputes related to payment processing, double charges, or unauthorized charges must be directed to Lemon Squeezy, as they are the Merchant of Record. Contact information and dispute procedures are available at lemonsqueezy.com.

Note on EU right of withdrawal: Under EU Directive 2011/83/EU, consumers ordinarily have a 14-day right of withdrawal from digital content contracts. By requesting immediate delivery of the license key after purchase, you acknowledge that the statutory right of withdrawal is replaced by the 14-day money-back guarantee above, which provides equivalent protection. The right of withdrawal does not apply to buyers who are legal persons.

7. Service Availability and Updates

Reumbra OÜ will make reasonable efforts to keep the Forge DevKit CLI tool functional and up to date. Updates are distributed through the npm registry and are included during an active license period.

Reumbra OÜ does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the Service, the npm registry, or the license activation server. Planned maintenance will be communicated via the website where feasible.

The generated output files (dev-skills, configuration files, tests) belong to you and will continue to work in your repository regardless of the status of your license or the availability of the Service.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

8.1 Service Provided "As Is"

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Reumbra OÜ makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the Service, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or compatibility with any specific third-party tool or AI platform.

8.2 AI Output Disclaimer

Forge DevKit generates configuration files and structured context intended to improve AI-assisted development workflows. Reumbra OÜ expressly disclaims any warranty or guarantee regarding:

• The quality, accuracy, correctness, or fitness for purpose of any content generated by third-party AI models using the Service's output files
• The continued compatibility of the generated files with any third-party AI tool or platform
• Any results, cost savings, bug reductions, or productivity improvements that may or may not result from using the Service

You are solely responsible for reviewing and validating any AI-generated output before use in production systems.

8.3 Limitation of Liability

Reumbra OÜ is not liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service or any AI-generated output
• Any issues caused by incompatibility between the generated files and third-party tools
• Any changes made by third-party AI model providers that affect the functionality of the generated output files

In any event, Reumbra OÜ's total liability to you shall not exceed the amount paid for the current annual license period. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by applicable law.

9. Complaints and Support

For questions or complaints about the license or the product, contact Reumbra OÜ at info@reumbra.com. We will respond in writing within 15 days. For payment-related issues, contact Lemon Squeezy directly via lemonsqueezy.com.

If we are unable to resolve a dispute by agreement, you - as an EU consumer - have the right to contact the Consumer Disputes Committee of Estonia. You may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform.

10. Personal Data

Reumbra OÜ processes personal data (name, email address) for the purposes of delivering the license key and providing customer support. Payment data is processed by Lemon Squeezy and governed by Lemon Squeezy's privacy policy. Reumbra OÜ's data processing is conducted in accordance with the GDPR.

11. Changes to These Terms

Reumbra OÜ reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. If changes are material, you will be notified by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence as an EU consumer.
